Privacy policy

Your information stays confidential with us

Data protection

Protecting your privacy when processing personal data is particularly important to us.

Here you can get an overview of what data we collect, for what purpose and what security measures we take.

Personal data that you provide to us when visiting this website is processed in accordance with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other statutory provisions.

As a rule, it is possible to use our website without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies

Some of our Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits.

These are browser type, browser version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the computer as well as date and time of the request.

This data is not personal. This data is not merged with other data sources.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up enquiries. We do not pass on this data to third parties.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data will be collected. We use this data exclusively for sending the newsletter and do not pass it on to third parties.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

IP anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

Configure consent

You can object to the use at any time under "Configure consent" at the end of the website.

Use of Google Maps

We use the map service "Google Maps API" of Google Inc. for display on an interactive map. As a result, information about usage, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the USA and stored.

As part of its own privacy policy, Google undertakes not to pass on any information to third parties, but makes exceptions to this. Accordingly, the data may be transferred to third parties if this is required by law in the USA or if third parties process the data on behalf of Google. You can find Google's privacy policy here: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

You can switch off the map service and prevent the transfer of data. To do so, deactivate Java Script in your browser. The map will then no longer be usable.

Configure consent

You can object to the use at any time under "Configure consent" at the end of the website. The map can then no longer be used.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Links

Our website contains links to websites of other providers to which this data protection declaration does not apply.

Information

According to the BDSG you have the right to receive free information about your stored data and the right to correct, block or delete this data.
